Who is a prophet? (4/4)
I'm still not convinced about giving to a prophet. What happens when I give?
Mt 10:41-42 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
1 Co 9:11-12 If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap a material harvest from you? If others have this right of support from you, shouldn't we have it all the more?
By You giving to a prophet , you are cementing your Miracle, you have become a steward to take care of God's servant, your seed will multiply and you will surely receive that anointing that is upon that man of God
I always believed that the ministry of God should be free. Why should I give an offering?
This is where many Christian make a mistake, they seek God, and they fail to do the most important thing, give an offering, you see the things of God are free, you can never by the blessing of God, but you have to activate your faith by giving God a legal right to act on your behalf here on the earth. You see when you see the car passing by all what you see is a beautiful car, but the truth is that it's made up of a lot of things, Engine, axles , bearings and may stuff, But it needs the fuel which burns and turns to power that moves the car .
You see by experience, when people go to witchdoctors or devil worshiping, they don't go empty handed , they go and with an offering in terms of money, animals of whatever is needed. Why, because an offering is the only thing that gives that spirit a legal right to act on your behalf physically and that spirit will never return until is accomplished what has been assigned to. Can you imagine now you facing and wicked enemy in your marriage, business who knows or has proper guidance on how to execute things of the spirit. you are in Big trouble, yet by refusing to offer an offering , you refuse to allow the most powerful force , God and all spiritual power to act on your behalf physically , though you are spiritual mature, yet physically you are losing and your enemies looks greater.
Hos 4:6 my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. "Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.
I believe your ministry is in error. What would you say to me?
Ps 105:14-16 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.
2 Ki 1:10 And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
There are many prophets today, everything that is real has opposite side of it, as true servant of God, I know those things exists even from the old times, but my warning is this, be careful to go about mocking the servants of God, you may have a bad experience with the fake one, I have come across may people taken advantage of and have suffered , but today they are restored, be careful you may end up mocking a true prophet and the consequences are more than what you can bear.
2 Ch 36:16 But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy.
Does God use prophets in this day and age. Who are you to say you hear God's Voice?
Civilisation is one of the greatest things that has happen to mankind, but also has brought a big setback to believers. Your Blessing comes to physical manifestation as result of a combination of two things -
1. Voice of God
2. Reading and obeying the commandment (The word of God)
Dt 28:1-2 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
Prophets or Men of God are the people are the mouth piece of God, you can read your bible but you still need a prophet over your life to speak Rhema word in your life, you may never find the word New York, Cape Town in the bible, you may never see the word Microsoft in the Bible, How will you know, where to God, what to do, which deal to cut, That's why you need a prophet over your life.
Dt 20:1-4 When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the LORD your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you. When you are about to go into battle, the priest shall come forward and address the army. He shall say: "Hear, O Israel, today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not be terrified or give way to panic before them. For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory."
It's not how much you are ready, it's about who speaks over your life, you need a prophet to come forward and address your life, your business, your cares
2 Chronicles 20:20 Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
